2 cups whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup white sesame seeds
1/4-1/2 cup buckwheat groats, quinoa, or wheat berries
1 TB smoked sea salt
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 TB garlic powder
2 tb onion powder or dried minced onion
1/3 cup sesame oil (untoasted), plus 2 TB pan and brushing
2 tablespoon honey or agave
2/3-3/4 cups water
flax seed meal for sprinkle
Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients seperately,
then gradually stream the wet mixture into the dry.
Working with one half at a time, roll the ball of dough
into a thin rectangle on 11" x 13" greased baking sheet.
Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter,
score the dough, brush with another TB oil, and sprinkle smoked sea salt.
Heat the oven to 400°F. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
